Baikal in winter is unique place with its rystal and clear ice, fancy ice caves and grottoes – all of its you can see only in Baikal.

Winter is the best time of year to discover the spirit of Lake Baikal. This is especially true in February and March, when the lake’s surface is frozen solid and the temperatures are subzero. At the same time the air is dry and the skies are surprisingly sunny. Many people think that in Baikal very cold in winter, but not always. Usually in winter is 5-7 cold days when the temperature drops to -30 degrees, in the rest time – much warmer.

We offer you the winter tours to Lake Baikal to the most beautiful places of the lake. You can visit Irkutsk, Listvyanka, Olkhon, meet with local traditions, try omul fish and feel the real Siberian hospitality.

Even in coldest months of December – January people enjoy outdoor activities and winter sports. Most of the winter, it is about -15, -17 °C during a day, which is OK to be out if you have proper clothes for subzero temperature.
