This tour will take you to the discovery of Siberia, Mongolia and China through more than 6000 km!

You will travel several days by train, feel the spirit of 3 countries, cultures, for both customs and food.

Day 1-2 Arrival to Moscow and free time

Once all the participants will arrive in Moscow we will arrange a pick up from the airport to the hotel where you will have the opportunity to visit the city on your own during the afternoon, the evening and the next day.

After the city tour we will go to the station to board the train that takes us to Irkutsk. The trip lasts approximately 3 days and will allow you to observe the life on board of the train and its passengers, Siberia nature and wooden villages across the Thansiberian railroad.

Day 3-7 / Departure from Moscow in the late evening and arrival in Irkutsk

Transfer from Irkutsk to Olkhon island and lunch at the local restaurant, arrival about 15:00 and check-in at the guesthouse.

Then we discover the famous Rock Of Shamans and take a walk in the village Khuzhir. Dinner is included.

Day 8 – the Olkhon island

Breakfast at the hotel and after excursion to the Cape Khoboy, the northernmost point of the island, a sacred place to the shamans. The trip will allow you to discover the beauty of the sea and the primordial nature of this area. Outdoor dining (fish omul), and later strolls during the stops in the most interesting places. Return to Khuzhir. The road passes through the plains, beaches and taiga. Dinner is included.

Day 9 – Return to Irkutsk

We head back to the hotel in the afternoon and we will have time to explore the city independently before dinner at the hotel.

Day 10 / Irkutsk

Irkutsk, also known as Paris of Siberia, is a wonderful to spend a day or two before (or after) having explored the western shore of Lake Baikal.

In Irkutsk you can admire the noble buildings of the late Nineteenth century, (the period in which the city began to flourish), and a modern atmosphere, especially in the summer. There are beautiful wooden houses in Siberian style with decorated windows. You will have a guided tour of the city and back to the hotel in the evening.

Day 11 – Irkutsk – Ulan Bator

At the appropriate time your guide will bring you to the railway stain to board the train that will take you directly to the capital of Mongolia, Ulan Bator. You do the customs formalities at the border and continue until arriving at the capital the next morning.

Day 12-13 and 14 -National Park Terelji / National Park Khustai/ Visit Ulan Bator

We have 2 days of adventure in the steppe of Mongolia. We visit The National Park Gorkhi-Terelj, one of the natural parks, the most popular, located about 70 km from the capital, which is famous for the “Turtle Rock” and the temple Ariyabal. It is a popular destination in Mongolia; many people often come here for the weekend or to enjoy the nature. The temple is very interesting and presents a strong influence of Tibetan Buddhism. The visit includes a trip to the horse of the hour-long excursion.

The National Park Khustai is the right place to visit if you want to relax and admire the natural habitat of the fauna of Mongolia, the famous wild horses takhi, but also marmots, deer, eagles, and other birds. We hike with the ranger in the area to see the famous horses and other types of animals/birds depending on the season. After these amazing 2 days in contact with nature, we will return back to Ulan Bator. Return to Ulan Bator in the hotel, private room.

Day 14 / Ulan Bator – Beijing

Your guide will accompany you to the railway station to board the train that will take you to Beijing. The formalities of crossing the border will be carried out on board of the train.

Day 15 – Tour of Beijing

Arrival at the station Beijing in the morning, your guide will wait you to a visit the Forbidden City and the Great Wall of China. At the end of the hike we have free time before returning to the hotel for overnight or going to the airport depending of your flight.

EXTRA SERVICES:

Booking of the flight Milan/Rome to Moscow and return from Beijing : 800 euros up to three months before, the 1300 euro from three months before to three weeks prior to departure. For departures from other airports please contact us for a quote.

Visa service to Mongolia, Russia and China: 550 euro per person.

Luxury Resort the park Terelji to the place of the Ger with the nomads, with spa and relaxation area: € 320 per person (book at least a month in advance, in the seasons of July and August ).
Overnight stay in a single room throughout the trip (where possible contact us in advance): € 600.

Supplement for Vegetarians/Vegans: 350 euro (the fee is due to the fact that in Mongolians eat only meat. In addition fruits and vegetables are quite expensive and are not always of good quality. We will prepare for you only vegetarian/vegan dishes during your trip.

What is included and what is not:

What’s included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner in Siberia, Mongolia and China, on the trains, lunch and dinner are extra (usually, the travellers bring food on board and buy it before boarding or there are the carriages restaurant, with prices low enough) transport in jeep/off-road in Mongolia (depending on the road conditions), private transportation, half a bottle of mineral water during the tour the cost of entry into parks/facilities/museums, English or Italian speaking guide, depending on the request.

What is not included: dishes in Moscow, personal expenses, travel insurance, air ticket, train tickets, insurance.
